Our RV Tour Package & Campsite Intro
Hawaii has more historic and natural attractions than any
other island. In its 4,000 square miles you'll find wide open spaces,
thundering waterfalls, barren deserts, steaming rain forests, mysterious
lava fields, beaches of white, gray, black, and green sand, the restored
site of an ancient sanctuary, Hawaiian temple ruins, petroglyphs, coffee
fields, orchid farms, and enormous ranch lands. Rustic towns are set amidst
giant tree ferns and orchid fields. Hawaii's diversity promises a wealth
of vacation memories. This is truly the land of fire and water, where
you can snow ski in the morning, visit a live volcano in the afternoon,
and drink in the moonlight on a black sand beach at night. Island RV is
now offering you the opportunity to explore this beautiful scenic Island
at your own pace. Join us in paradise!

"What we noticed more than anything else were the times
early in the morning or late at night when most people are in their
hotel rooms and watching the same old TV show they can see anytime."
"Those times were the most magical. An early morning swim
with no one else on the beach. A sky full of stars that we could
look at for hours. An amazing calm just after sunset when the sky
is glowing and the grill is pumping out the smell of a hand grilled
steak. Those were the times we all smiled and looked at each other
and just understood that this was the true Hawaii."

Mahukona
Beach Park
After a day seeing more beauty than you ever could imagine, Mahukona
is a quaint and very quiet place for your second night's stay. The
world famous North Kohala valleys are only a short distance away
with their spectacular cliffs and waterfalls. The northern reaches
of Hawaii are the sites of early Hawiian culture. Be sure to visit
Parker Ranch, at one time the biggest cattle ranch in the world,
and don't miss Waipio valley for a journey into Hawaiian beauty
as you've never seen before. 4x4 Jeep tours, horseback riding or
mule drawn wagon rides can be made. Just ask us to make the reservations

Laupohoehoe Point Park
You've
enjoyed a day like no other, traveling across the northern part
of the Island, and you're now entering a totally different part
of geographical terrain. A very lush tropical area. You'll wind
your way down the road to what used to be the town of Laupahoehoe,
which has now been turned into a beautiful park. Hiking and bicycling
in this area is grand, with all the waterfalls and tropical plant
life you can imagine. The camping here is some of the best! Just
pull up in a spot between the large wispy trees and let nature take
over. This park offers beautiful blue waters and some of the best
fishing on the Island. A large grassy area next to the shore makes
it possible to camp with the sea at your side.

Hawaii's
Volcanoes National Park
Many of the tourists you'll meet have spent an entire day to get
here. This is a spectacular event, one not many get to see. This
area has so much to offer you will want to spend two nights here.
Bicycling is the way around this park, stop at the information building,
watch the movie and explore this wonderful sight. Here you can take
a guided night tour up to see the lava flow. This campground offers
many wonderful services through the National Parks & Recreation,
feel free to check into them. From this day forward you can tell
all of your friends that you slept on an active volcano!

Punalu'u
The Black Sand Beach
We thought you would like another night's stay with the ocean at
your wayside. You will enjoy Punalu'u, also known as the The Black
Sand Beach. There is a feeling of heaven that overwhelms you as
you pull into your overnight site. A large statue of a child sleeping
with the turtles tells you a little bit more than words can describe.
Green Sea Turtles are what you may expect in the early morning on
this beach. Punalu'u offers swimming with the turtles, beautiful
blue waters, which rise in harmony with the black pearl sand, and
lots of exploring. This is a perfect place to take in a round of
golf, at one of the most beautful courses on the Island. Ask us
to arrange a tee time for you!

the old fashioned ambiance of a seaside village with the finest
dining on the whole Island. Take a midnight stroll along the ocean
and feel the old time friendliness this town has to offer. Kailua-Kona
